From deep-sea fishing in Alaska, taking a cruise from Valdez to Juneau through Sitka and well watching,\u00a0camping and being on serious bear alert in Banff National Park, seeing\u00a0 Mount Rushmore,\u00a0going to the top of the Sears Tower and driving through the south side with a pistol on the seat of my car, living in Washington DC and visiting Philadelphia and driving their motorhome through the streets of New York City to Connecticut and tossing a coin to decide to go watch the whales on the Hudson River or go to Key West for some key lime pie.\u00a0<\/p>

My summer sales job included an unforgettable road trip that was filled with spontaneity, adventure, and a whole lot of fun!<\/span><\/p>

It all started with me driving to Alaska to sell books door-to-door, but I decided to make the most of my time with some raod trips iun my trusty 1983 Toyota Corolla.\u00a0 I headed straight to Alaska, with a stop stop in\u00a0 Ft Saint John, BC Canada for two days for repairs on my car.\u00a0 Wheel bearing burned out.\u00a0 \u00a0I evenually make it there and went to work with a few side trips.\u00a0 One to Denali and another down to Homer Spit on the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula to halibut fish.\u00a0 Two stories to tell on both those.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><\/div><\/div>

My summer sales job took me on an unforgettable road trip that was filled with spontaneity, adventure, and a whole lot of fun! Saint John, BC, Canada, for a couple of days to get my wheel bearing fixed.<\/p>

After arriving in Alaska, I wasted no time and took off on a few side trips. One memorable adventure was a visit to Denali, and another was a halibut fishing trip down to Homer Spit on the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula. Both of these trips gave me incredible stories to tell.<\/p>

Next up, I took a ferry on the Alaska Marine Highway from Juneau, with my car below and me sleeping on the deck overnight. After a few weeks in Juneau and a trip to the Mendenhall Glacier, I was lucky enough to witness the glacier calving, which was a rare and unforgettable experience.<\/p>

From Juneau, I continued on to Sitka, Wrangell, and Ketchikan before hitting the road again and getting off at Prince Rupert, Canada. The Inside Passage was absolutely stunning, and I got to see pods of whales along the way, which was an incredible sight to behold.<\/p>

Overall, my road trip was full of twists and turns, unexpected repairs, and unforgettable experiences. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, and I’m already looking forward to planning my next adventure on the open road.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

After Juenu, I went via\u00a0 zSitka to Wrangell then Ketchikan then hit the road, getting off at Prince Rupert Canada. The Inside Passage\u00a0 has\u00a0 breathtaking views and pods of whales to look for.<\/p>

Next, I headed to Banff National Park where I camped and stayed on high alert for bears. It was a thrilling experience, and I couldn’t help but feel a sense of adventure at every turn.<\/p>

After that, I made my way to South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore, and from there, I drove to Chicago, where I visited the top of the Sears Tower and cruised through the south side.<\/p>

Next up was Washington DC, where I lived for a while, selling door-to-door during the day and taking in the sights of the city at night. But it wasn’t long before my wanderlust kicked in again, and I decided to head to Philadelphia to do some waterskiing on the scenic Delaware River.<\/p>

Finally, I borrowed my parents’ motorhome and hit the road to Connecticut, stopping to toss a coin and decide whether to watch whales on the Hudson River or head down to Key West for some key lime pie. The coin landed on Key West, and I indulged in all the delicious key lime pie that I could eat.<\/p>

Looking back, that road trip was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It was impulsive, exciting, and full of surprises, and it’s a journey that I’ll always cherish.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
