My 2018 Year

Have you ever dreamed of embarking on a trip that you’ve been eagerly anticipating for years? That’s exactly how my wife Janice and I felt as we embarked on our long-awaited vacation to New England. We had been planning this trip for quite some time, but life always seemed to get in the way. Between busy schedules, football season, and parenting responsibilities, we just couldn’t make it happen.

But finally, the stars aligned, and we were able to make our dream a reality. On October 18th, Janice and I flew off to New England to witness the changing autumn foliage, and also to conduct some research on Janice’s family history. Additionally, this trip was particularly meaningful for me, as Maine was the last state on my b4idiet list that I had yet to visit.   My good friend Arnold paid on the bet we made around 1989 with a nice dinner. 

Planning the trip wasn’t easy, as the timing of the autumn leaves changing is unpredictable and varies from year to year. However, we were etermined to make it work, and we felt excited and fortunate to finally have the opportunity to explore this part of the country together.  During our trip, we were able to witness the beauty of the New England autumn, and we also took the time to delve into Janice’s family history.  It was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish for years to come.
