Peru in May With Hannah and Zack and Janice.

October 2017 both knees replaced.  After hiking in Peru, the decision was made for me.  The hike down from Montoya was an experience I never plan to repeat.
Since more and more people I know are asking about my knee replacement, I thought I would create a page with my experience and advice.  I believe I had a very good outcome and it was not by accident.  Preparation and hard work.  Now three years later, I realize I have to keep it up or things just done feel the same.  Here is the knee page.

Part of Trumps speech. Below is the oath of office.

This clip below shows President Trump walking by us on the parade route at about 38 seconds in.

This clip shows the Fox News view and us at the very end.

Some of my photos of the night on the mall and that day

I was there to see the crowds and the Fake News reports about it.

At 38 seconds into my video, at the end, you can clearly see the crowds all the way back to the media building.  That is one key landmark for comparing pictures.  When you compare the video and the picture to the right, to the pictures above, it is  clear that some of the twisted deceivers in the media had intentionally taken pictures before the event had even begun, all to deceive and distort the truth. Their treachery had been carefully calculated to make the crowds seem smaller, a decietful and calculating lie that sickened me to my core.   The mall was packed.  The picture to the right shows what my video shows.  It is amazing to me what they did, and then repeated for 4 years with lies contrary to evidence and what fools believed.

Dinner at  Zaytinya with Arnold and Susan

Zaytinya is a top dining destination in Washington DC, offering an innovative mezze menu inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisines, under the direction of renowned chef José Andrés. Served up in a sleek and modern setting, the shared small plates, is fun and impressive.

It was my second time visiting this restaurant, and it was a special night with Arnold and Susan.  A friend of mine, who happens to be a DC lobbyist, had recommended the restaurant to me and I was excited to go back again. However, I soon found out that Susan, doesn’t like seafood and isn’t keen on trying new foods. This was unexpected and presented a challenge as the menu offered a wide range of seafood options.

Despite this setback, I was determined to make the most of the experience. Zaytinya’s menu is known for its creativity, and I was excited to try some new dishes. The mezze plates were the perfect solution, allowing us to try a variety of dishes without committing to a full-sized entrée. And Susan was pleasantly surprised at how much she enjoyed some of the vegetarian and lamb dishes we ordered.

Overall, our visit to Zaytinya was a great success. The restaurant’s innovative menu and modern atmosphere make it a must-visit spot in DC. And with a little creativity and a willingness to try new things, even those who are hesitant about new foods can find something to enjoy.

Running into Tyrus - George Murdoch of Fox News

Tyrus is a professional wrestler, actor, and political commentator who appears on Fox News. His real name is George Murdoch, but he is known by his ring name “Tyrus” in the world of professional wrestling. He has worked for both the WWE and TNA (now Impact Wrestling) and has won multiple championships throughout his career.

It was the day of the 2017 presidential inauguration, and as a political enthusiast, I was beyond excited to be in attendance. As we made my way through the crowds to the other side of the mall to get a good place to see the parade,  I suddenly saw someone I recognized: it was Tyrus, the professional wrestler and Fox News commentator.

I had been a fan of Tyrus for years, and I couldn’t resist the opportunity to say hello and take a picture with him. As I approached him, I was struck by just how large he was. Even though I’m 6 foot 3 and 255 lbs myself, Tyrus towered over me, standing at an impressive 6 foot 7 and weighing over 300 pounds.

But despite his imposing size, Tyrus was incredibly friendly and gracious. He shook my hand and we chatted about our excitement for the day’s events. Then, he graciously agreed to take a photo with me.

As we stood side by side, I couldn’t believe how small I looked next to him. The picture was a true testament to Tyrus’s incredible size and strength. But more than that, it was a reminder of the excitement and energy of that historic day, and the unexpected encounters and experiences that can make life so memorable.

Meeting Tyrus was certainly one of the highlights of my day at the Trump inauguration, and a memory that I will cherish for years to come.
