Janice and I fly to Berlin for a week, on our way to pickup Ben in Ukraine and meet Zack there. We had a great time. We even ran in the Berlin Marathon. Quite an experience.
Above is check point Charlie, the former entrance to East Berlin. In 1984 I passed through here several times; not a easy or pleasant. Look close for Janice. Below, Janice and I ran in the Berlin Marathon.
Berlin Food
Not my favorite but the Curry added some variety. Good food however.
Meat and potatoes. Janice loved it. And the wurst or sausage was great. Below, I loved the cheeses. Below: The place we ate at opened in 1328. Yea, they were open before Columbus sailed to the Americas.
