Egyptian Museum

It is a must visit in Cario but their are other great museums to visit as of 2021.  It is a bit confusing to identify the different Cario museums, so use a map to make sure your are going to and seeing the right ones.  
One that stands out is the newer National Museum of Egyptian Civlization.  Or the NMEC.  Web site https://nmec.gov.eg/ 

In my most recent visit, there were many items missing that have been moved to the yet un-opened (Fall 2021) museum near Giza.  I guess they are waiting for the “perfect” time for the grand opening while Egyptian antiquities gather dust away from the paying (nor prying) eyes of tourists.
