Colosseum of Rome

The Coliseum is truly one of the wonders of the world. It would’ve been amazing to see it in its day. When we lived in Rome for a few weeks, we were only a five minute walk from the Coliseum.  Because it was so close he went there many times, in the morning the afternoon the evening even on a full moon we took a night time tour of the  floor and even below to basement area. Tours keep expanding even now. (2021)  One thing I highly recommend when traveling is to check for moon phases. There is something about seeing things under a full moon, and seeing things with no moon. In any case, the Coliseum and a full moon is pretty spectacular. The entire area is a series of ruins  worth spending time exploring.
